夢をかなえるゾウ：人気の秘密
この本、とっても面白いです。
そして、読者は、だいたい２ページに１回、次の４つの
いずれか、の反応を示すようにできています。
１．クスッと笑う。
２．ヘエーッと感心する。
３．エッ？と驚く。
４．ジイ～ンとくる。
つまり、「読み手の感情に届く」言葉が
２ページに１回、ちりばめられているのですね。
ちなみに、この本は約３００ページありますが、
かなり読みやすいので２ページ１分として
約２時間半もあれば読了できます。
つまり、「１分に１回、クスッとかヘエーとか感心する」
ことになるわけです。
本は、見開き２ページで一回、クスッ・ヘエーッ・ジイーンの
どれかを読者に与えられるかどうかが超一流になれるかどうか
の分かれ目です。２００ページの本なら１００回です。
普通に良い本なら、４ページに一回以上でしょう。
つまり、２００ページの本なら５０個くらい、感情のスイッチ
を本文内に仕込ませておくこと。
ここまでが、本気でベストセラーを目指すときの読者に対する
最低限の配慮だと思います。
この点、講演やセミナーの場合は、３分に１回、
「クスッ」「ヘエーッ」「エッ？」「ジ～ン」のどれか
が入っていることを意識するのが名スピーカーです。
特に、立ち上がりは３０秒が勝負！
ここで、聴衆は、「この講師、聞いておもろそうやな～」
と思っていいかどうか、判断するとみて間違いないです。
…これは、今まで２０年近く人前で話してきた経験。
本も同じです。
一にタイトル。
ニにはしがきと目次。
三に本文の出だし３行。
ほぼ、この初期段階で、
「この本と２－３時間を共にしてみようかな？」
という意思決定の審判に、著者は立ち会うのです。
こういった、「情報・サービスの受け手」の気持に
立った、コンテンツ（情報・サービスの内容）作りを
継続的に意識しつつ、お客様に接している人は、
非常に成功しやすい人だと思います。
